The 2025 Brawl Stars Championship (BSC) season has officially begun, with the qualifiers kicking off last week across all four regions and the sub-regions under LPL. The competition is already heating up, delivering thrilling matches and surprising results. Let’s dive into what happened in each region!
East Asia: Upsets and Reverse Sweeps Galore
East Asia delivered some of the most exciting games of the qualifiers. One of the standout matches was NAVI’s reverse sweep over ZETA, proving their resilience. Meanwhile, NIWA came agonizingly close to defeating Crazy Raccoon in Upper Bracket Round 2, but the experienced squad held their composure to complete a reverse sweep of their own and move forward.
In the Upper Bracket Final, Reject battled Rival Esports in a nail-biting double match-point series, ultimately securing a 3-2 victory. As a result, Rival dropped to the Lower Bracket, where they faced NIWA, only to be completely outclassed in a 3-1 upset, allowing NIWA to qualify for the Monthly Finals.

Upper Bracket: Crazy Raccoon, Frenzy Gaming, Reject, NAVI
Lower Bracket: Effort Result, Team S2, ZETA, NIWA
EMEA: A Region of Shocks and Comebacks
The EMEA qualifiers brought high-stakes drama, with several surprises. FA Kozaki clashed with BOAT ( Team Heretics) and secured a decisive victory, advancing to the Monthly Finals from the Upper Bracket. The biggest shock of the qualifiers, however, was Papara SuperMassive’s triumph over the former world champions FUT Esports, knocking them down to the Lower Bracket.
The upsets didn’t end there. Reply Totem had a disappointing start, losing to Eclipsar Esports in Winners’ Bracket Round 2. Things got worse for Totem fans as they fell to BOAT (Team Heretics) in the Lower Bracket, losing 3-1 and failing to qualify for the Monthly Finals. Another intense matchup saw Millesime MG pushing FUT Esports to double match point, but FUT held strong, securing their spot in the finals.

Upper Bracket: HMBLE, FA Kozaki, Papara SuperMassive, SK Gaming
Lower Bracket: BOAT, Team Elektros, Eclipsar Esports, FUT Esports
South America: Dominance and Predictable Outcomes
Unlike other regions, South America didn’t deliver as many upsets, but it still had some standout performances. Minipekka’s dominated Olimo Squad with a clean 3-0 sweep, showing their strength. The teams that secured qualification from the Upper Bracket included LOUD, SK Calalas SA, Minipekka’s, and KaioPerro.
In the Lower Bracket, Ninguém Segura, Legión Otaku, Zurita Gang, and Olimo Squad claimed their spots in the Monthly Finals.
North America: Spicy Matches and Rising Contenders
North America delivered some electrifying games, starting with Pioneers dismantling Spacestation Gaming 3-0 to secure their place in the Monthly Finals. Meanwhile, the Upper Bracket Final saw an intense battle between CODE OG and STMN, where CODE OG emerged victorious in a close 3-2 series.
With both STMN and SSG dropping into the Lower Bracket, the pressure was on. SSG quickly bounced back by sweeping Olimo Squad NA 3-0, securing their qualification. SK Calalas NA, a rising team, made waves by taking two sets off SSG in Winners’ Bracket Round 2 before falling to them. However, they didn’t give up, facing Eternal and STMN in the Lower Bracket and stunning both teams to qualify for their first-ever Monthly Final!

East Asia Monthly Finals Recap: Crazy Raccoon Claims the Crown
With the qualifiers wrapped up, it was time for the first Monthly Finals of 2025 in East Asia. The action kicked off with Crazy Raccoon and NAVI cruising through to the semifinals, while Reject and NIWA battled in a heated match. NIWA came extremely close to an upset, but Reject managed to edge them out 3-2 to move forward. Meanwhile, ZETA Division also secured a convincing win to reach the semifinals.
In the first semifinal, Crazy Raccoon obliterated NAVI in a stunning 3-0 victory, securing their spot in the Grand Finals. In the second semi, Reject clashed with ZETA Division and emerged victorious with a 3-1 win.
The first Grand Final of BSC 2025 in East Asia saw Crazy Raccoon take on Reject. Led by Tensai, Crazy Raccoon delivered a commanding 3-1 performance, securing the championship for the February Monthly Finals!
EMEA February Monthly Final Recap
The February Monthly Final of the EMEA region delivered intense matchups, stunning comebacks, and a shocking grand final result. Let’s dive into the action-packed recap of the tournament!
Quarterfinals
The first quarterfinal saw Hmble take on Eclipsar Esports, and it was as easy as butter for the reigning world champions. Hmble completely dominated ECP with a clean 3-0 sweep, securing their spot in the semifinals without breaking a sweat.
The second quarterfinal featured Team Heretics against FA Kozaki, who had to bring in a substitute, GuGu, due to Buzko being restricted from competing. Kozaki started strong, claiming the first set, but Heretics quickly adapted, striking back in the second set. The match eventually reached a tense 2-2 tie, leading to a decisive final set. Team Heretics held their nerve and emerged victorious with a 3-2 win, advancing to the semis.
The third quarterfinal was a thrilling battle between the former world champions, FUT Esports, and Team Elektros. Elektros put up a commendable fight, managing to take two sets off FUT, pushing the series to a final set decider. However, FUT Esports showcased their experience and resilience, securing the 3-2 victory and moving forward to the semifinals.
The last quarterfinal clash was between Supermassive and SK Gaming. Supermassive started strong, grabbing the first set, but SK Gaming refused to let them gain any further ground. With a composed and dominant performance, SK won three consecutive sets, claiming a 3-1 victory to book their semifinal spot.
Semifinals
The first semifinal pitted Team Heretics against the defending world champions, Hmble. Despite Heretics putting up a valiant fight, Hmble once again proved their dominance, controlling the pace and sealing the series 3-1. With this win, Hmble became the first team to qualify for the grand finals.
The second semifinal was a high-stakes battle between the former world champion roster of FUT Esports and SK Gaming. FUT Esports came out swinging, quickly taking a 2-0 lead and positioning themselves on the brink of victory. However, SK Gaming showed incredible composure, staging a remarkable comeback to even the series at 2-2. In the final set, SK completed the reverse sweep, knocking out FUT Esports with a 3-2 win and securing their place in the grand finals.
Grand Finals
The grand final showdown saw SK Gaming face off against the defending world champions, Hmble. Given Hmble’s dominant run, many expected them to retain their title—but SK Gaming had other plans. In a stunning display of skill and strategy, SK swept Hmble 3-0, dethroning the champions in an emphatic and dominant victory. With this triumph, SK Gaming were crowned the February EMEA Monthly Finals champions.
