Just a touch of drama

As we approach the end of June, we get closer to another Monthly Final. Last time, Reis Da PL confirmed their resilience, solidifying their place as one of South America's top 6 teams, and F/A MiniPekkas turned the tides to defeat Spacestation Gaming.

Everything went as planned in the Monthly Qualifier, with the only upset being iworlds defeating Urubus Do Pix in a close 2-1 lower bracket match. Urubus - made of Tufa, PitBullFera, and Wesley - is now out of contention for a World Finals/LCQ spot. This lineup, almost identical to 2023 (except for the difference of Tufa for Brabao) did not meet the expectations they would have set after reaching 4th place in SA East in 2023.

QUALIFIED TEAMS

1) Spacestation Gaming | Edinho, FireCrow, KaioDog, AlchemicalX (C), Trekking (M)

Spacestation was dethroned as South America's champion last month, but they are here to claim it back and prove they are still the number-one team in the region.

2) SKCalalas | CaueBr, Doritos, VTzim, Acee (A)

After failing to qualify last month, SKCalalas are ready to strike back, coming straight from the upper bracket, and their first match is against the team that knocked them out the previous month - Marruecos.

3) F/A MiniPekkas | Jubileu, Mohtep, Pekka, Rol (C)

MiniPekkas took down Spacestation last month, and they will surely come stronger this month. If they win it all again, they will move closer and closer to that first place in South America and direct qualification for the World Finals.

4) Team Queso | Bryan, Jxcr, Rhz, Joaking (C), Kius (M)

Team Queso kept consistency for the last months, making it to the top 4 in every Monthly Final, but the challenge now is harder because their first opponent is Reis Da PL.

5) Reis Da PL | Brabão, IceCrow, Lele, Toodyxz, Diego (M)

Reis Da PL is our surprise for this year. After failing to qualify for the first month, Reis Da PL has struck back and made it to the semifinals twice to put up a challenge even to the defending champions - F/A MiniPekkas.

6) iworlds | Golden, NiceShot, Nubis, Ricky (M)

iworlds is the only underdog team this month. They took out Urubus Do Pix in the lower bracket to qualify for this Monthly Final. It isn't, however, their first appearance. They have competed in the past under names such as TWIG Zero. Let's see how far they can get this time!

7) Marruecos | Alonso, Kristian, Loko, Canru (A)

Marruecos have already proved themselves time and time again, but they have a tough old face in their way, SKCalalas. Last month, Marruecos was SKC's nightmare, who might now lose their LCQ spot to the current third place - Team Queso. The time is now to step up again and conquer their deserved spot on the international stage, as whoever loses this first match might have their dreams shattered next month.

8) Olimpo Squad | Exic, Meliodas, Nico, Portox, Paolo (M)

Almost out of contention for any spot on the international stage, Olimpo Squad faces the devil and the deep blue sea. Their first match is against F/A MiniPekkas, the current champions. This match and the possible semifinal will decide whether they continue on their way to the LCQ spots or if it's game over.
