BC* Gaming's new journey

Written by Kairyu

BerlinCityClub is a relatively new organization in the Brawl Stars scene. They entered the game by signing Mainland China's number 1 seed in 2023 - United TOC, who were already qualified for Worlds at the time, before adding Filip47 and xCasta. After being eliminated in group stage (though they still shocked everyone with their performance), BC* parted ways with their Chinese roster and went on to explore new horizons.

This year the German org will play in their home region - EMEA. Their new roster is full of young talents: Mewtu, Salty, and Tomzy, formerly OneTrickPonies, who join BC* Gaming for the 2024 season.

Tomzy has played for several teams already: such as the legendary team of Dogster Lobster, who got signed by Now Or Never and later Italian organisation HMBLE. During his time with Dogster Lobster and Now Or Never, he reached the Monthly Finals on 6 occasions but won a match only once. After signing with HMBLE, he was able to maintain his form, qualifying for the remaining 3 Monthly Finals of 2023 and advancing to the LCQ, though they were knocked out by SK. As for third-party tournaments, his most notable achievement was in Season 4 of the Snapdragon Pro Series, which he won playing with HMBLE.

Salty was a part of Team Sampi and MrDoSa during 2022 and 2023 respectively. He didn't achieve much in the BSC during his time with Sampi, except for qualifying for Monthly Finals once. Coming into 2023, he and his teammates started to shine. Qualifying for the first Monthlies without a match loss, they made themselves known to the whole region. Unfortunately, they were not able to keep up the pace, and only qualified for 2 more Monthly Finals, always losing during the first round 3 times.

As for Mewtu, nothing much can be said about him. Being the least experienced player of the three, he is yet to show himself to the world - but be sure to keep a lookout for him and his roster in their bid to reach the international tournaments!
