A Brand New Org in NA - a BIG one.

FIVE PLUS ORGANIZATIONS IN NA??? WOOOOOO

After the departure of Spacestation Gaming from NA following their roster disbandment as they moved to Brazil, NA seemed doomed to remain a stagnant 3-organization region when it came to Tier 1 (and BSC T1 equivalent) orgs. But it turns out, the region had a lot more to show than ever before.

It started with Juan Carlos Team's electrifying win in the April Monthly Finals, propelling them to sign with Kansas City-based organization Pioneers. This was a huge first step in the scene. And just recently, we saw upcoming APAC-based organiziation Rival Esports (who already field an all-Japanese Roster) sign the likes of 512, new Mexican talent with a lot to prove.

It seems that this blessing is bound to continue as Motomamis F/A follows a similar story to JCT, signing with an American organization ELEVATE. After winning the May Monthly Finals in a close reverse sweep against Luminosity Gaming, MTM solidified their spot on the top of the leaderboard by a comfortable 30 points. Unlike many of their competitors, MTM (formerly under the Remaining 7 banner) never faced the true threat of elimination like STMN or Luminosity, and secured a semifinals finish in both March and April, giving them a lead against other winners this year. Tribe Gaming and Pioneers both have a monthly final win as well, but this is paired with a quarterfinals exit in the other two months. Standing tall, this roster can now play the long game with their LAN qualification all but guaranteed.

ELEVATE, which plays under the ELV nametag, is a large organization founded in 2014 with over 93 thousand followers on X (formerly Twitter). Their first entry into mobile was Call of Duty: Mobile (CODM) in November 2023, followed by Pokemon Unite in December of the same year. This will be ELEVATE's third mobile venture, and ninth team overall across eight distinct games.

This roster consists of Zeus, R B M, and Lxffy, while longtime player Killer has transitioned to a staff role alongside coach Sebas. Lxffy (sometimes known as Luffy) is a BSC veteran who started his journey all the way back in 2021 with his long-term teammates Barajasf and vSxolar (later becoming Team Unknown). In 2023, Luffy joined Vanguard Gaming for the May Monthly Finals and the rest of the year onward following Cristian's departure after the team signed. He failed to qualify for a LAN event in every team he has played, but perhaps this year is finally his time.

Zeus is still relatively a rookie, with his first full year of competition being 2023. He's more than proved himself as an elite player, with great aim and a big heart. Killer has had a similar road to Lxffy, but he didn't play BSC in 2021. However, despite his mysterious air, he's always proved himself as an elite tank player with his titular Ash supremacy during much of 2022.

The latest addition to this roster is R B M, and boy, was it a good one. Since his time with Vatra Gaming in 2022, this player has been phenomenal wherever he has gone with mechanics rivalling some of the best in the world. R B M has always been considered one of, if not the best player on his team from VTR to Chasmac Gaming NA last year and even SSG NA this year before their disbandment. He's also known for playing Ash similar to Killer as the World Record holder for trophies but has played a variety of flex roles and dominated in every one. His impact was instantly felt and silenced all doubts about chemistry after their performance last month. Although he's the most accomplished in his team, having qualified for the World Finals in 2022 and LCQ in 2023, he, unfortunately, crashed out at the first hurdle in both, losing 0-3 to Reply Totem at the BSWF22 and going 0-2 as the first team eliminated from Group B at LCQ.

So, the only question left: Is the Sebas blessing enough to counteract the new org curse, or has their luck ran out? In the past few months, we've seen the previous month's champions being taken out in the quarterfinals by the new winner (JCT (KCP)/TRB in April, and MTM/JCT (KCP) in May.) With a must-win match for STMN on the cards as their quarterfinal opponents, will ELV continue to show what they have or crash out after riding the high? See the action go down at the June Monthly Finals over in NA & LATAM N!
