NA: running it back?

Written by gak

North America is a region built on consistency, and these three orgs seem to think that one more year might do the trick. Let's take a look at how the org scene is shaping up in NA!

STMN Esports

Coming in just short of the crown in 2023, STMN are looking to make another run this year. Bobby, Zhar, and Sans are ready to take on the world again after the departure of longtime teammate OG, who has recently joined FUT Esports.

While STMN struggled at home against yearlong rivals LG, they found success at LAN, sweeping through LCQ and coming in 2nd at the World Finals. Will this be the year that they take home gold?

Luminosity

A newcomer last year, Luminosity entered the scene with a bang becoming one of the two new partnered organizations last year. Signing the roster of Dog Walkers, Patchy and Chino were joined by longtime veteran Charlz. They won 4 of the 6 monthly finals, securing their Worlds qualification against regional titans STMN.

Despite their inexperience at LAN, LG was a force to be reckoned with. Making it out of their group seemed laughable against the likes of China and India, and even a bit shaky. However, in a close 2-3 matchup for the playoffs, they were one blunder away from taking out ZETA Division, the 2023 World Champions. With a year under their belt, can LG stake their claim as one of the greats?

Tribe Gaming

Perhaps one of the most recognizable rosters in the world, Tribe Gaming has been a dominant force for quite some time now. Zoulan and Tyrant have been with the org for a while, joined by Ezlivi in 2022 as the missing piece of the puzzle with Cori transitioning to the coach role. After some fierce competition in NAE last year, TRB managed to come out on top and placed top8 in the world finals, beating the likes of LCQ mammoth NAVI and SPS Masters champs Reply Totem. Can Tribe finally find their way further in the bracket this year at the world stage?
