Eclipsar announce a huge signing

Written by Kizuki

Eclipsar Esports made a stunning return to the competitive scene in the Brawl Stars Championship 2024 (BSC 2024) with a formidable full French squad. Comprising three players, a manager, and an analyst, Eclipsar's roster includes OPE, GuGu, and Mric. This lineup marks a significant upgrade from their previous lower-profile rosters, positioning them as a team to watch in the 2024 season.

Mric, the newest talent on the team, previously played with the F/A team MrDoSa. In 2023, Mric demonstrated his potential by winning several tier B and C tournaments, whilst also achieving top 1 in the EU&MENA Split 2 Open Cup, along with various top 3-4 finishes in the Snapdragon Pro Series Open season. Mric's addition brings a fresh perspective and skill set to Eclipsar.

GuGu, another member of Eclipsar, had a relatively quiet 2023 campaign but managed to secure a top 8 finish in the July EMEA monthly finals with Nita's Cubs. Despite a modest showing in 2022 with HMBLE at the ESL LAN, where they finished at the bottom of the group, GuGu's talent is undeniable, adding depth to Eclipsar's roster.

OPE, one of Eclipsar's stars, showcased his dominance in the EMEA region during the previous season. Initially signed with FUT Esports alongside Drage and Symantec, OPE faced a roller coaster journey, moving to SK Gaming after being dropped by FUT. His hard work paid off when SK Gaming secured a top 4 position in the World Finals. Notably, SK Gaming's victory over FUT in the group stage of the World event, where they reverse-swept FUT, added an extra layer of drama and excitement for fans.

Eclipsar's journey in the 2024 BSC season began with a strong start, qualifying for the first monthly finals by defeating BC* Gaming. Notably, BC Gaming*'s Salty was Mric's former teammate in MrDoSa, adding an intriguing dynamic to their rivalry. With a strong roster and impressive qualifications, Eclipsar Esports is poised to make a significant impact in the Brawl Stars competitive scene in 2024.
